Councilmember Jan Perry, Coalition for Clean Air, and Green LA Transportation Work Group All Support A Better Bike Plan

More great news on the Better Bike Plan campaign; we’ve received three letters this week in support of a better Los Angeles Bike Plan, one with more bikeways of all types than its predecessor and one with a rigorous implementation schedule.

Councilmember Jan Perry, the Coalition for Clean Air, and the Green LA Transportation Working Group have all submitted letters in support of our efforts, in tandem with all the work the bicycle community is doing, to strengthen the current  version of the proposed Bike Plan.

With the final day for submitting comment today Friday, January 8th, we’re urging everyone out there to get your two cents in before tonight. But know that we’ll keep pushing both City Council–the decision makers in what kind of Bike Plan gets passed–and city staff to get LA bicyclists the bike plan they deserve well into the New Year.
