Saturday’s Community Meeting in Compton was a major success! With the Mayor of Compton, City Councilmembers Dobson and Calhoun, a 16-year old from Carson High School, members from Compton Schwinnmasters Bike Club, cyclists from across LA County (Long Beach, Burbank, Downtown LA to name a few), it was truly a community event, and of course LACBC and Metro staff, it was a truly community event.
We learned about and provided input to the LACBC/Metro Transit Hub Project, plans for a new pedestrian oriented Compton Transit Center from City Engineer, Chuck Bergson, walked and bike around the area, and provided inportant feedback to both these projects.

Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to see if
it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.
My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views.
I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with
someone!
